Is there a winter parking ban in Newport, Enfield or Canaan?
We have not verified a current rule for those towns, so we do not list one. Ask the town's public works or police department. This page will add a town only when an official page states the rule.
Not verified yet
We do not guess. These towns are listed so you know to ask rather than assume there is no rule.
- Newport: The town's website FAQ page returned an error when read on Oct 17, 2026, and the same address returned "not found" when tried again on Oct 18, 2026, so rules are not listed. Ask Newport Public Works.
- Enfield: The highway department's policies page links snow removal and ice control documents only; no dated ban was found (read Oct 17, 2026; the town's website refused an automated read on Oct 18, so it was not re-checked). Ask the town.
- Canaan: Only an archived 2021-22 notice was found, which is not current. Ask the town.
- Other Upper Valley towns (Lyme, Orford, Plainfield, Cornish, Grantham, Springfield and others): Not checked yet.
